Mediation: When is it appropriate?

 

ADT Mediation can assist in the resolution of conflict in a range of circumstances some examples include:

 

  • Commercial contract or service level agreement disputes.
  • Partnership Dissolution.
  • Workplace conflict either employer/employee or employee/employee.
  • Local neighborhood disputes, eg fencing, noise, etc.
  • Leases and tenancies disputes.
  • Board or Committee grievances and  disputes.
  • Wills and Estate disputes.

 

ADT Mediation conducts mediation and conflict resolution in conjunction with a number of Associates as appropriate. These colleagues are drawn from a wide range of industries and sectors where they have all held senior positions. Some of the areas of expertise include:

 

  • Health
  • Education
  • Commercial Law
  • Aged care
  • Police and Emergency Services.

 

Workplace Investigations

 

If the issue in your workplace has not been appropriately investigated and documented it is generally not appropriate to move towards Mediation. ADT Mediation can provide a professional and experienced investigative team to interview all parties involved and complete a thorough investigation. Such investigations can involve cases of:

 

  • Workplace Bullying and Harassment allegations.
  • Breaches of Conduct or professional ethics.
  • Discipline matters.

 

NOTE: If ADT Mediation conducts an investigation into a workplace conflict, it is not appropriate for ADT Mediation to also conduct a Mediation which may stem from the investigation. In such instances we would refer the client to another Mediation service.
